Range Riders: Riding with Wolves
Is It Your Turn in the Saddle?
July 5-10

Try your turn in the saddle tracking wolves and riding herd on Montana’s open range! Our 5-night/6-day Range RidersSM experience is for individuals with a love of riding, wildlife and the great outdoors.

Participants assist our experienced Range Riders as they patrol the open range on horseback to deter conflicts between wolves and livestock, while experiencing untamed nature in Montana's backcountry. We meet with ecologists and ranchers to learn first-hand about the careful stewardship essential to coexistence with wolves.  In true western fashion, home base will be a comfortable camp with wall tents, cots, and delicious chuckwagon-style meals. Optional packages to extend your trip to Yellowstone National Park are available.

The Range RidersSM adventure is limited to 8 participants and offered in cooperation with the Madison Valley Ranchlands Group. The cost is $2500 ($500 is a tax-deductible donation for the Range RidersSM project).

For more information contact our office, 406-587-3389, Jacqueline Rieder Hud at 406-763-5215, or email us.
